The Final Scores + Winners

I hope everyone made it back home safely. We've caught up with our sleep and are reliving the rally with the photos, which I am uploading at the moment.

While waiting for the photos to upload, I thought I should post the final scores and winners!

Aside the main competition, there are a few awards in different categories:

The Longest Drive Award - Norfolk and Good
The Wackiest Car Award - Thunderbanger 4

Now on to the main competition...

Congratulations to The Iron Lady Boys for winning Barmy to Barcelona 2010. They walk away with the top prize of £1000.

Second place goes to Internal Rescure (Thunderbird 2) who walk away with £500.

And the third cash prize goes to the GLAMorgan Rockers who win £250.

Home

The car waiting in the que for the ferry in Dunkerque.
We got all the way home in the good old shed, with only the oil light coming on once, and fixing that straight away with a litre of oil.
We have all enjoyed the trip very much, were already thinking about next year :)

Shiela - gone but not forgotten

Cabbage racing 2 paid a tearful farewell to Shiela yesterday when having made it back to dear old blighty, she now resides at Wickford cars, so anyone who wants a car that knows it's way round the rally and back again, there's one for sale in Essex. We even left her with the one spare part we took with us, no we don't know what it is either, but it was the only thing in the boot when we bought her so reckoned it must have been important.

Going back to sleep for another day or two now.

Doug

Andy at Shitroen WRC here, Hope everyone got home safe

And the people still in Barca are having a great time.  We Set Off from Barca at 3pm on the 20th drove constantly except for wee's and poos and food and driver changes and of course the ferry. Went over the Millau Viaduct, Jesus what a piece of work!.   Got back home "Wacky Rally 2 - barmy to Brierley hill, west midlands" by 12.30 pm a mammoth 21.5 hours straight.  Just woke up after sleeping for over 14 hours.   worth it though, what a good laugh!!!

Car got us back ok and the photo is at Calais where, Ironically our Red Bull car, couple with 2 cans of red Bull drink, managed to get us home safely to blighty!!!
